Sorry it has taken me so long to upload pictures but I haven't had access to a computer. The Sahara was beautiful. It actually started raining as soon as we got there. Rain in the Sahara!? I know...very odd! The drive to the Sahara was gorgeous. Beautiful mountains, trees, and flowers. My favorite part was seeing all the villages along the way. There were a lot of Nomad tents on the way down, people who live in the tents move from one place to another. We visited a Nomad family and seeing the way they live makes you so appreciative. They work so hard for everything they have. Camping in the Sahara was definitely a cool experience. It was so nice to feel so completely cut off from everyday life and be surrounded by the earths beauty. We had Moroccan mint tea of course, climbed the top of a dune and sat around the fire. The next morning we woke up at 5 AM and had a two hour ride back to the cars, we were able to see the sunrise. Riding the camels back at 5 AM was a bit uncomfortable! There is so much more I could share but it would take pages to fill. All I can say is that being on this journey has my mind in constant contemplation. I'm disovering new things each moment that I never even knew existed. I'm loving it.....

On the drive down to the Sahara, we stopped on the side of the freeway and visited some wild monkeys. It was awesome to be so close to them!
